Fillet Finder Charters offers guided trips on the Detroit River in the spring from March until May, and on Lake Michigan for salmon in August and September, and in Northern Michigan for walleye and perch in October/early November. Meet Captain Brian Schlaack
Captain Brian has over 25 years of experience chartering, and will work hard to put you on the fish. He has been fishing since he has been able to walk, and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others. A true outdoorsman, he has spent the majority of his life fishing across Michigan, from walleye to salmon and everything in between.
Captain Brian holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 gross ton Master License and has been navigating the Great Lakes Waters his whole life.
Brian’s team placed 3rd in the Michigan Walleye Tour on the Detroit River in April of 2024. His guiding and fishing skills plus his knowledge of the Detroit River provides an excellent charter of this amazing fishery!
